The Muckross Abbey app was an interesting app to research; we discovered a lot of interesting facts about the site. In the app you will discover where the hermit John Drake slept for the 11 years he lived at the abbey, the story behind the midnight wedding and the sculptor who created the Gallwey memorial in the Nave plus the many architectural features such as the traces of frescos painted in the South Transept.
